My AVIC-D1 unit failed and I'm looking to purchase the AVIC-U310BT in its place. Will my existing XM Tuner (GEX-P10XMT) work with the U310BT? Also, is the power connector the same between units, so that it will be an easy replacement?

I heard that the GEX-P910XM will work with the F series but I don't know about this model. I'd actually like to know this myself as I just purchased this unit for my fiance and want to replace her XM and want to replace her aftermarket external one.

It certainly wont work for traffic but it may work for XM. The best thing to do is plug it in to the unit and see for yourself.
