from the first time i set my unit to shuffle all it automatically goes back to it once i turn on the unit. even if i selected no shuffle. its annoying cuz when i'm trying to listen to an album continuously it just mixes up the order and it sucks

Maybe you should try to reset it to factory default and just reset your other settings ?

Yes, I noticed this too and it's very annoying. I will try to see if the shuffle is on by default on my iPod.

Ok, I just checked and tested it tonight and found out the issue is because the iPod is on shuffle, hence the head unit is defaulting to this mode. Turn shuffling off prior to connecting it works.
