How do I get audio in to z120 from my music player??

I have a simple Cowan D2 music player and a 3.5mm audio cable which I connected to the audio cable of the Z120 (the one that also has a USB ). For the life of me I can't figure out how to play the audio through my system? Does anyone know how?

Use the AV2 input and get an RCA to 3.5mm cable.
