Just received my 920bt and all harness. I have a 2010 chevy avalanche which has a USB connector under the armrest. I did not get a iPod connector for the new headunit because I am hoping I can still use the one under the armrest. What do you guys think

Well it depends if you want to view videos from the ipod as well. If you don't care for videos then try it and see.

dude u paid how much hundreds of dollars for the HU whats another 40 bucks and its well worth it i dont know about everyone else but the sound quality is way better with the ipod cable and dont buy the ebay $1 kind go OEM all the way

well you problem is going to be that the USB connector under the arm rest is not going to be compatible with the AVIC (its not going to have the same type of connector), it may have a usb connector on the front but its just going to have a weird chevy harness on the back of it, you could take a usb cable and cut it up and solder it all together, but thats no easy task and definitely not for beginners.
