Anyone know where its located/what color it is? Im going to to the by pass so I think im just going to cut that crimp thing off the end of the parking break wire and soder it to the VSS and tap into that way..does this sound ok?

No offense but why on earth would you do that?

Just locate the light green wire and ground it with the added wire as described in the sticky. I just did it on mine and it took about fifteen minutes. Didn't mess with the reverse wire at all.

that will do absolutely nothing for you.Just do the right bypass and by the way your vss wire is gray/black at the radio harness. Hook that up and be happy.

I think what he is saying is that he is going to cut the crimp connector off of the parking brake wire, solder it to the end of the VSS lead, and hook into the VSS wire that way. He is going to do the bypass so he doesn't need to use the crimp connected on the parking brake wire.

If that is what you're planning on doing, I wouldn't recommend it. The crimp connectors wear out and don't make the best connection. Just splice into the VSS wire and solder the lead to it.
