Guys, I'm buying a used F700BT and the dude can't find the microphone so I'll need to buy one that fits.

It's going to be mounted in an Excursion if that matters and there's an overhead center console.

Suggestions for mikes please and if there's a choice, please give me pros and cons AND, if possible, prices and links please.

Is there anyone in my area (Charlotte, NC) that can help me update maps and maybe even show me how to work this thing?

It's way cheaper than the pioneer and works better. I just purchased this one and I have problems with my bluetooth Audio.

Ok, so let's see if I understand. You got the mike AND now you have problems with the bluetooth audio or you had problems BEFORE, with the Pioneer mike?

I have that same Garmin mic and it works great. It looks much better than the Pioneer, and has more mounting options. No one I've talked to has said that it sounds any worse than the original microphone did, either.
