Hi Guys,

I have a AVIC-D3 under a futureshop warranty. What is a good way to 'break it' so they will replace it. Normally if it is unrepairable they will replace it.

Why don't you stop being a cheapskate and break out your wallet and upgrade your D3? Why's everybody gotta be scamming all the time?

Seriously, what kind of thread is this?!? It would be hilarious if you broke it on purpose, and they denied you another because you voided your warranty.

Besides, I am a little confused about this scam. If you want them to replace your D3 with another one, I am assuming that something is ALREADY wrong with the one you have, thus should qualify for repairs/replacement. Or are you assuming that since they no longer carry the D3, they would upgrade you to whatever new model they have in stock?

This is a ridiculous thread and doesn't deserve the satisfaction of a response. Locked!
