hello ive been trying all day to get this hu to connect to msn direct i try to go to home/destination/msn direct/status- then it says to activate go to the website and u will need this product key listed below but there is no product key please help i cant activate it without the key msn says call pioneer and pioneer says call msn im getting the run around , i know msn direct is going away in a year but right now its 20 dollars for the whole year so i figure why not if i can get it connected thank u

They said wrong. You will need to purchase that tuner if you want MSN direct.

why? crutchfield doesnt even sell it??? i live in hawaii and the tuner is for the z110bt isnt it?

i just got off the phone with crutchfield and they confirmed it that the tuner is for the z110bt and told me to call pioneer again but they are all off for the holidays pioneer customer service is terrible

No not really. The tuner will run you around 100 bucks and the service will be non existent in a little over a year. That and many people have very poor results with this service and their units. I would pass on it. I would also probably call Crutchfield and tell them to get their act together with their product knowledge. They are usually pretty good about that so I am surprised.
