Is there a real time GPS readout of speed?

I was tooling around with my F90BT and found a live speed read out under the satellite info/strength panel.

Is there any place on the Z120BT that will give a real time read of the speed of the vehicle? I would like to verify my speedometer changes.

Thanks!

Yes. Under connection status in the navi settings.

Awesome, thank you!

Yes. Under connection status in the navi settings.

I have a speed pulse readout there, and some other info - Illumination, pkg brake, etc., but no speed readout. This is on a Z120BT.

Then your VSS wire is not connected.

Hmmm. What is speedpulse then? That generates numbers while moving, 0 while stationary. I had a professional install, which is why I don't know one way or the other. It's only been a week or so, so I'll definitely go back to have it connected.

Well I guess I stand corrected then. The speed read out may be on another navi settings screen. Its been a while so I cant remember.

The speed readout is in the top left corner in the 3D calibration status menu.

On my 120Bt the speed reading is on the 3d calibration page.

Didn't see it there either. Really odd!

You have a speed readout on that screen??

Not just the speedpulse number?

Speed shows on the 3D calibration page, but you can't access that page while the vehicle is moving. When your speed is zero, you can go the page and your speed will show once you start moving again. But if you exit the page you won't be able to see it until your next stop.

I'm guessing that doesn't apply when the bypass is installed?

That is correct. You can access any page while in motion if you have performed the bypass.

I think what he meant is that when the bypass is done, the speed is gonna read 0 or else the unit would lock you out.

The speed display is visible from that screen if the unit is bypassed.

Nevermind what I said before. I had done the bypass, but the pin must have pulled loose because I'm getting a parking brake error on startup now.

I think Realtime speed should be displayed live on the map.

This is great help when you dont trust your speedometer.

in example change of wheelsize and always there is margins of great errors on factory speedometer.

Mine displays 10Km/t to much, i have learnd to adjust to it but a correct speed in map on gps would be realy nice.

I couldn't agree more. It should at least be an option in lieu of the clock or something like that.

Also, I finally found the speed readout on the 3D calibration screen, somehow I managed to overlook it when I first checked, so thanks everybody. It's a cool readout, and ridiculous that you can't get to it while driving if you haven't done the bypass.
