will a portable dvd player with audio and video out jacks out play thru the d1 unit? i know the unit will not control it. thanks roadkingdoc

Yes it will.

i mentioned it a few months ago, but I always believed a portable dvd player is the cheapest way to get DVD video onto a D1/D2, especially with the awesome sale Amazon had last week (Portable DVD w/ 7" screen for $25!)
