I had this in my truck and never had any problems. Put it in my 09 cobalt ss and it's been acting up since! Sometimes after the radio comes on it will shut down and then turn back on. sometimes it takes a couple minutes for it to come back on. Also, sometimes when i hit the window switch to roll the windows down..it'll shut off. usually takes a few minutes for it to come back on again. Could this be a bad ground issue? I don't get it, grounded to the metal dash just like it was in the truck. got me puzzled! Please help!

did you check to see if what you grounded to is actually ground. cobalts have a nice ground in the top right of the passenger fuse box area. also what did you use for an ign.acc source. factory radio has no ign at radio jim
