the gauge screen on my d2 has a tab to adjust the look of the gauges. how do i activate that tab. mine does not activated for some reason. thanks bigtime! roadkingdoc

You need the AVG-VDP1 dynamics processor to utilise the different graphic modes for the gauges.

You don't need the vehicle dynamics processor to do that on the d2. With the gauges being displayed, tap on either the left or right gauge. Then in the lower right corner of the menu that pops up it'll say "Adjust Look" tap that. That'll bring up the different looks availible for the gauges. If your d isn't bypassed, you might have to have the parking brake set to do this.
