hey guys, can i just hook up the yellow power wire to the other yellow power wire thats on the harness of my d1? thanx... and also does the d2 load ipod "stuff" faster then the d1? or are they both the same when it comes to the ipod? THANX AGIAN!

you have to ground it as well but yes the yellow wire goes to a constant source if thats what you are referring to.

Make sure you tap into the yellow wire on the D2 on the car side of the noise filter (black box), not the radio side.

uh.... if you mean between the end of the harness and the black box thing... then yes, i did do that... what if i did do it after the black box? what would happen?

probably not much, but that filter is for the unit and NOT other accessories.

It may end up back-feeding some noise into the Z1 that the filter is meant to get rid of.
