Z1 w/XM Reception Intermittent Question

I have been getting some in / out reception . Antenna is on roof . I lost reception for a day and then back on again . I checked XM Status and even tho I now have reception again , it is showing " not connected" , no signal. Could it be antenna ? Also have been getting channel 1 once in a while when I start up the truck . XM unit is w/out traffic info , Z1 is May 2006 unit .

Do you have the pioneer xm tuner or the terk 2 box tuner.

Please clarify ... This was installed professionally in Phoenix , I'm in Tucson . I assumed there was only one type of unit . What is 2 box ?

there is the Pioneer GEX-P20X, Pioneer GEX-P10XMT, the Terk2, and perhaps others. It would help if you knew which XM tuner you had installed.

Pioneer , no XM Traffic option
