Hi All,

I was wondering with the Pioneer NavGate Feeds for PC,

1. I saw the download for the European software but is there a software for North America (Canada)?

2. Also are you able to import custom routes from Map Quest instead of just poi's from Google?

3. Thirdly if you are unable to import custom routes (dirving on the roads you wish to drive on and mapping out your own way of getting there can you do this with the build in navigation)?

for example if the navigation is telling me to go on street ONE then make a left on street FOUR and a right on street SIX but I know there is a faster route, or a route that I PREFER for example I may want to go on street ONE and make a left on street TWO to avoid traffic and then a Right onto street SIX is this possible?

Portables only.

so, on a portable garmin that I can switch from one car to the other I can map out the route exactly the way I want meaning I can pick the streets to avoid and the streets to drive on?

ok, I'll ask the stupid question: if you want to manually select the streets to drive on and hand-pick your route, you sound like you know where you're going ... hence, what's the purpose of a nave then?

not necessarily, when you have your navi set a route you are able to see in a list where your turns are going to be and if you know one street has traffic everyday when you are driving, you may just want to avoid that road and hand-pick a street to avoid the traffic jam.
