Curious if the 920's VSS wire actually captures pulses?

A year ago I had the 910 and then upgraded to Z110 in the same vehicle using the same wiring.. The 910 did not capture VSS. The Z110 did and the nav was quicker to locate my location and also more accurate.

Yes it does. The 920 has the same navi software as the 110. If you are not getting a reading then the wire is not properly connected.
