Hey Guys,

I just ordered the Z1 and the XM radio/nav traffic.

Now I need the following:

bypass -
steering wheel controls -
BT -
iPod Controls -
Rear camera -
mounting kit -
wiring harness -

I remember reading somewhere that someone is selling the iPod controls for $60. Who is? Also, where can I find this other stuff for cheap?

Thanks,

Duke

Word is that the price of the Ipod adapter has dropped to $50. Circuit City and Crutchfield are two places that are selling at the new price.

Yep, I picked one up at the local CC today somehow I ended up paying 49.XX with tax even though it was advertised as 49.99+tax...I'm not going to complain.

I got everything for my unit at Crutchfield and Ciruit City.

Steering wheel control is the PAC SWI-PS if you are converting the factory steering. Available at Crutchfield.

Well every CC around here but 1 is sold out of the ipod setup. Finally found 1 and put it on hold along with the mounting kit and wiring harness.

Now I just need the:

PAC-PS
Bluetooth Pioneer
Backup Camera

I think I'll hold off on the backup camera for a little bit though. I think I'll order the other two off Crutchfield and just wait till the BT comes in stock. I checked ebay and they're all at really high prices.

Everyone seems to be on back order.

what did you use for the steering wheel controls?

I bought the PAC-PS I believe is the name on ebay.

The only things left is the Pioneer BT which won't be shipped to stores till June 15, and possibly a backup camera.

Bluetooth adapter is shipping sparsley now, I think crutchfield has shipped out a lot to members here, like me. :)

I installed the Pioneer reverse cam and its viewing angle is impressive, however it's a little big for a reverse cam. I'll try and post pics soon. It has a "night mode" which works pretty well but I thought it would be an IR mode, which it isn't. You can find backup cams much cheaper online than this pioneer one. I guess the tradeoffs are the Pioneer has a rugged weatherproof case + great view angle, 3rd party has a smaller form factor + better night time viewing.
