So i just noticed when i was in a call through bluetooth and had my music also playing on the phone at the same time it played on the f700 rather than my phone. i'm guessing it's a fluke, but is there a way to stream music from the phone to the unit through bluetooth?

nope, A2DP is not supported in the F-series, you need to upgrade to one of the X or Z series that supports the feature.
