Hello all, recently insurance hooked me up with a avic zbt110. They installed its seems like a cable for the ipod that goes through my glove department. So the other day I get my apple white cable and hook it up to the cable attached in the glove department. it syncs and i have full control of the ipod thru the zbt110 but has no AUDIO!!

i searched the forums, and got maybe some answers. wanted to make sure though. Is there a different cable that I need or the installers mess it up with the wrong cable?

Also... I have only connected the ipod with the ipod dock connector. do i have to plug the 3.5 mm jack into the ipod as well???

As mentioned on this forum a hundred times you have to have the Pioneer CD-IU50V iPod cable.

sorry i did search the forums, and I kinda maybe knew that was the answer. But it was still vague to me and wanted to find out directly.

so does the CD-IU50V connect straight from the cables that the zbt110 came with or do I have to take the deck out and reconnect everything?

It connects to the USB and AV plug on the USB cable.
