Ok, what up--this is a strange one I couldn't find another example-

I have an F700BT that's barely hacked with the regular stuff 3.01 update w/ software bypass, maps, the usual.

Anyway, I get in the car the other day, stick the key in just like normal and the thing boots up SUPER FAST, like in 10-20 seconds the maps up and bluetooth is connected.

Not only that but out of the blue I had MSN direct enabled. WTF? I tapped the MSN button and it said 'connecting' but I wasn't in the car long enough to see where it went. Otherwise it functioned perfectly normal.

It only did that once and I haven't been able to duplicate it, but....crap, it booted up FAST! If pioeer could get them to do that normally they could sell a few more.

Anyone have this happen? I thought MSN wasn't available on the 700?

MSN is not availably on the 700, the unit does not have the hardware, you've got some weird sh!t going on there

after i upgraded to 3.0 - every once in a while ill get the msn direct to light up on my headunit

i think this is more of a firmware glitch than anything - the button itself doesnt do anything

ive never had the unit boot up that quickly though!

Yeah, it was very weird, I hadn't even pulled out of my parking space and the blutooth connected note popped up, then BAM! there was the map.

WTF? So I got curious...I thought it never shut off somehow, even though I had the key with me and it'd sat for 3 hours. I checked closer and there was the MSN direct button, I tapped it and it said 'connecting'. I was only in the car for 3 minutes, and it never connected...so yeah, probably a firmware glitch.

I wish it would do it all the time! I don't care about MSN, but if it could start up that fast we'd all be happier.
