Is it possible to load pictures into the X910BT via SD or USB and have a slide show on the screen?

 

Also, it is possible to have a picture of my choice displayed on the screen, rather than the map or XM screen?

 

That's such a nice big screeen going to waste.

I'm pretty sure that's not possible. The only capability of customization for a screen image that Pioneer gave us is just being able to change the background splash screen that the unit boots up to. Once the unit is fully booted up, it uses the menu systems or audio apps that are active in the unit.

 

It would be nice to have something like that, though.

I haven't gotten this done (yet?), but I know it's possible to watch a DVD (passenger, of course) while the car is moving. I did the handbrake bypass, but I'd have to change the wiring to make the car think it is standing still.

 

If you do that modification, you would be able to watch a slide show from a CD.
