Just wondering if there is a way to connect my ipod through the ip bus jack in the back of the unit. All the wires I have come across aren't listed as compatible with the F700.

Why would you want to? Thats like having a DVD player and asking for a VHS machine.

I don't get it? I just want a new way to control my ipod through the headunit since the usb port is now broke so I cant use that anymore..

You wont get any control over the IP BUS for iPod on these units. Get your unit fixed.

why would pioneer make ipods adapters compatible with a radio that has it built in already?
long story short, they wouldn't.
get your AVIC fixed instead of trying to find ways to "rig" it up.
