Hi there,

I have an AVICF700bt in my 2006 Acura RSX (not type s) with stock speakers, a 10 inch alpine type R and a 500 watt alpine amp. It sounds fine and I love the deck itself, but my highs are crazy high. Piercing to a point where I am constantly having to mess with the eq settings between different songs/genres.

Anyone have any advice? Maybe some recommended eq settings? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Yeah i had the same issue in my mustang, it took a while to balance it out for every type of song (i have the mach 460 audio system in it)... I also found that the fronts where WAY too loud causing the highs to be TOO loud for me too. I think i had to set the balance more to the "rear" (i set the rear to +4)as well as adjusting the EQ. I also set "Loudness" to "low".

Cool, I'll give that a try. The sad part is that the stock speakers aren't bad, and since my car is so small loudness isn't even an issue. Thanks for input!
