I'm thinking about getting the Cingular BlackJack i607. I noticed that it doesn't have an IR port, but does have bluetooth. Do you need the IR port to beam contacts to the Z1 or is this handled via bluetooth?

Just to let you know the BJ does not have a good batt life. They are giving you two batt's for the phone. If you can go for the Moto Pearl. I have friends that work at a Cingular Kiosk and have had people returning the BJ.

I do have the bluetooth adaptor installed and it works great. I'm just curious about the blackjack.
