When did Pioneer start loading BTooth Update on new units?

Okay - so after reading what feels like 100 threads I can't find the answer--- so forgive me if this has already been asked:

Does anyone know when Pioneer started packaging Z1's with the Bluetooth Update already loaded on? I have a September 06 manufacture date so I'm not sure where my unit falls...

If it doesn't, and I DO install an update, will it kill the 2 wire bypass? Has anyone done this on a model with this bypass already in effect?

As stated in the ongoing bluetooth fix post, if you have the 2 wire bypass installed then it will still work.

I have a Oct 06 and I believe it has a echo fixed, first because I don't get the echo at all in all 3 phones I have paired with, even at the highest Z1 phone volumes. Secondly, I think I read in another post about another Oct 06 Z1 owner tried installing the update and the message came that the update was already installed. So I go with tillithz.
