I want to the AVIC-X920BT in my 2004 Sportstrac. Some are saying that it will not fit. I have the standard 2 DIN radio with the factory subwoofer. When I read the demensions of the X920 Unit versus my opening it seems like it will fit. Any help would be great.

a DD unit will fit in any 01-05 sport trac, you will need a dash kit, one compatible model is the scosche FD1330B

you will also need a wire harness, make sure you get the right model for a factory subwoffer like the metra 70-5519, you will also need a resistor to go inline with the remote amp turn on wire to keep the factory sub from "popping" every time the radio is turned on and off, a 1500 ohm resistor should work fine
