Anyone every have any luck mounting your GPS antenna under the dash? I know it wouldn't work if there is metal between the sky and your antenna but figured the signal would pass through the dash pad. Any thoughts?

a lot of users in here stick their antennas under the dash and have good results.

all most every GPS install i do is with the antenna under the dash, i definitely would recommend using the metal sticker under the ant if burring it under the dash, or placing it on something metal (dash support or the radio itself) but try not to get it under too many layers, the fewer layers of crap on top of the antenna the more accurate it will be.
