I just purchased a AVIC F700BT. I thought it would have been an upgrade from the D3 i have in my other vehicle. But it seems updates and mods are a little confusing. Well I am on here to see if someone can help me out with some issues. I am new to this forum & have done a lot of reading, but I think i am getting lost here..... So my question goes....

I want to get the latest update for my nav system. I currently have 2.0000 On it. I see there are a lot of updates & Mods with short cuts. I will like to know if someone can tell me where I can download this new map & firmware update without spending 120$ I will greatly appreciate it!!! Thank you

I'm in the same boat.. except I've had mine for a couple of years now and just haven't gone out of my way to do anything to it yet but it's rather slow and I hear 3.0 is supposed to speed it up.
