I have a 99 GMC Envoy and it only has a 1.5 din. I have pretty much set my mind on the D2 and now it appears that I will not even be able to install it. Ive looked for a dash kit with no avail. If anyone knows or has any suggestions, please share. Ive read on these forums somewhere where people have fit them in Envoys. I want to be a fellow AVIC owner!

You can always opt for the AVIC-N3 single din unit with flipout 6.5" screen. I love mine, and its nice that the screen hides away when im not in the car so its not "in your face" to potential thieves

It has been done, It'll take a lot of work to do the fabrication to make it look good.
