Hello Everyone. I just recently purchased the Z120BT. I have been looking through this site for a week or so trying to educate myself before getting the unit installed. I have a couple question that I'm hoping you guys could help me with.

1. Are there any problems I should be aware of? (i.e. Mic quality, BT quality, GPS problems)

2. I would like to get a back-up cam installed also. Any recommendations for a cam that works well with this unit?

3. Anybody have any tips or tricks before getting the unit installed? Anything you guys would've done differently if given the chance?

Thanks for the help in advance guys. Here is a pic of the car it will be going into.

1. Read the topics. Mic is pretty useless (even poor for voice commands) - so BT based calls are very poor comparing with anything I've heard (Kenwood, Alpine, Toyota factory etc). The issue is with your voice going out - and the noise associated. BT music is great. GPS is decent.

2. Cams are very well doc'd here. I've been using Chinese Ebay ones with perfect success ($40 + 2 weeks from China) - others think they will go bad... They are OEM, and are designed specifically for most cars. Again, read the topics.

3. Consider a different unit if you use it for BT calls (mic based). All in all, I'd have probably gotten the Kenwood/Alpine or maybe a Chinese knock-off WINCE 6.0 had I known of the voice issues (I use hands-free a lot in my car)

Although there have been several complaints of BT call quality issues that is not the case for everyone. I have decent BT call quality on my unit. Its not as good as with my 9960 but good enough.
