does anyone know of a good installer in the NY/NJ area who is familiar with ducatiboy's bypass method. i don't want to go into the unit myself (since it was just installed by a major chain), and i would hate to ruin the unit so soon after installation.

BTW, the rear view camera bypass does not work. My shop installed an independent unit in the rear and ran it to the Z1. The Z1's motion sensor kicks in at apprx. 15 mph and shuts of the video (the sound, however, remains). any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Where in NYC do you live? I live in Queens, and know people who have went to Parkway Car Stereo in Long Island. They have 4 shops, but the one in Hicksville (on Old Country Rd) definitely does the bypass on the Z1.
