I have a new car with this new navigation system and having a problem with some buttons not being active when driving. Specifically in the Navigation Menu, the "Address" button only lights up intermittently (mostly off) and in the Phone menu, the Keypad button and Transfer button are also not lit up at the same time so I can't access these options at all. This doesn't seem to be an issue when I bring the unit into the house to play around with. Very frustrating though because it just happens SOME of the time - invariably when I need to type in an address to find! Has anyone else had this glitch with your AVIC-U310BT? Thanks for any suggestions...

Pull the parking brake.

Of course - a safety feature!!! Didn't think of that because I am actually the passenger trying to fiddle with the system while my husband is driving. Thanks for your help!

There is a simple bypass for that if you look through the hacks and mods forum.
