Please help,

I just installed an AVIC-F90BT into a 2005 4Runner using a harness of type 70-8113 Turbowire that consist of the following wires:

COLOR: GRAY - RIGHT FRONT

WHITE - LEFT FRONT

PURPLE - RIGHT REAR

GREEN - LEFT REAR

BLACK - GROUND

YELLOW - BATTERY/MEMORY

RED - IGNITION/ACCY

BLUE - POWER ANTENNA

BLUE/WHITE - AMPLIFIER TURN ON

Everything seem to be operating fine except there is no sound.

well if you are using the 8113 then you have a premium sound system, you do have the blue/white wire from the avic harness connected to the blue wire on the metra harness right(amp turn on from the AVIC is blue/white but for some reason its blue on the toyota harness)

if so test and make sure that there is 12v+ coming off of that wire when the radio is turned on

there may be a problem with the RCA outputs on the avic, if you look in the dash cavity with the radio removed, there should be another set of harnesses, you should be able to unplug them and instead of using the 70-8113 harness, a 70-1761 harness should plug into there, this will bypass the factory toyota amp and use the pioneer amp instead
