Do you know what it's like to have a brand new Z1 sitting on your dining table and not be able to use it? I got my unit in Friday and will be getting it installed Tuesday, along with the ipod adaptor. But every time I walk by the table my new Z1 mocks me! I truly can't wait to get this installed and start playing with it.

I also want to say hey to eveyone here, this is a great site and I have already learned a lot in the few days of lurking. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for the note. You know what I would do? Keep a sledge hammer next to it and when you walk buy, if it still mocks you, take a swing at it. I bet it won't mock you too many more times :)

I hear ya man! My unit arrived on a Monday and sat in the box until I had the time to install the next Saturday.

You guys had WAY too much self control. I had mine installed that night, I was up till 2AM, but I got it in! :) Yah, but I'm crazy!

I was in the same boat as DucatiBoy,got the unit around 7pm on a Friday and took my installing friend to breakfast on Sat all the while using my new Nav system...

That's why I installed mine myself. I couldn't wait at all.....and I upgraded from the D1!. It's not like I didn't already kinda have one.......still don't have the freakin' Blue Tooth adapter yet, though.

Please I got to wait till the end of June, my old college roomate is a pro installer so hes doing the z1 and my alarm in my new STi.

Mine was in the same night like everyone else (but had a pro installer check it out after everything was installed).. he was supposed to do the whole deal BUT I just couldn't wait
