Ok I have the parking brake and the second wire grounded or so I think and when I am driving the Parking Brake connection is displayed as on so I would assume it would be the second wire but also when i am driving the speed pulse is 0. Does that have anything to do with the second wire?

No, it just means you didn't hook up your speed pulse wire
