Updating POI Location? — AVIC411 Forum Archive

So a few POI's in Atlanta are incorrectly mapped (blatantly wrong or location has moved since Z1 mapping).

A few examples:

- Hartsfield International Airport

- - - This one is just mis-mapped entirely. Took me to some chinese resteraunt in downtown Atlanta, GA.

- West Egg Diner

- - - This one moved to a new location 1-2 yrs ago.

Is there any way to redefine the location of a POI? I would like to correct them as POI's rather than stick them in my address book.

No but you can notify teleatlas so they are fixed in the future

You can drive to the correct location and store the location in your address book, but label it whatever you wish. My buddy's place is "dumbfu**s house" and the voice recognition says and responds to that. :twisted:

That's funny. Then again my old job was labeled sh*thole.
