My questions is this: do you think that when the N4 is available pioneer will let us update (using DVD) our N3s to the newest model?

also, is there any information on the N4?

um, no way to tell, the unit isnt out yet. its merely speculation unless confirmed by pioneer or another user with the product

We were told the N4 won't be released until late summer so it will be a few months before anyone knows anything for sure. I am sure you will be able update the maps to the 07 maps though, as pioneer is pretty good about keeping their new disks compatible with old systems. There may be hardware changes (like the N2->N3 had) that you will not be able to take advantage of
