I'm back!
After a few diversions I have thrown in the towel and I'm back with my trusty F700BT.
I gave the X920BT a good try, but it's BT phone call quality was always so poor it was unusable, that was diversion #1.
After that Crutchfield was doing a good deal on refurb Kenwood 9960's and since so many good things have been said about them, I went for it, but that was a short-lived affair.
While the cell phone BT and nav performance were miles beyond what current Pioneers are, I just could not get past the user interface, it was horrible and almost unusable while driving, when I started to have issues with it randomly not playing DVDs, it was time to use the powers of RMA to send it back.
A six month trip away from my F700 winds up finding me right back where I started.
