I want to know when should the splash screen appear as it only appears when I save the picture on the SD and put it inside the device and press "cpy settings" and then restarts, but it doesn't appear every time I switch the car on & off.

Thanks in advance

The radio goes into standby mode when you turn the car off. It doesn't show a start up screen when resuming from stand by, only on a reboot. The reboots take a while, so it's good this unit goes into standby.
