Well I received the update 4 days after ordering. Very pleased.
The system is visibly faster and more responsive!
Now to update the maps again to 2010.06

No they wont, they will always cost "someone" though. My buddy bought this, and I used it and it worked fine on mine.

What version firmware do you have now? Some say its updated to 4, and others say it remains 3.x.

The version number may be different but nothing has changed in the forum of new features. These units are done. There will be no new features and only map upgrades will be released from here on.

Yeah, I was more interested in the performance improvements people have been mentioning. Some have commented it was more responsive.
