I have an Avic Z3 installed in a 2007 Silverado. In the past couple of days the steering wheel controls will not allow me to change the source or go up or down to next track. The volume works fine though. It has done this on and off for five days now. One day it works and the next it does not. When I push any of the controls there are XM radio hilites on my odometer. Any ideas as to what may be causing this? Thanks.

A wire probably came loose. Try checking all your connections. If that's ok, I'd try reprograming your steering wheel module.

I had a similar problem except the volume would work sporadically. I ended up having to replace the SWI-PS unit.

Garret, I have my track change, mode and volume all working, but is there something for the voice command button and or pickup and hangup phone calls ? I drive a Lexus RX400H

On mine, only the volume down was failing...
