Can anybody tell me where I can find this wire and what color it is? Or should I just run a wire attached to a fuse?

Just wanted to update this in-case anyone searches this in the future. I ran a wire to the fuse box on the left side of the car, inline with the 10 volt fuse. This did the trick for me.
