Has anyone successfully played a VCD or SVCD in thier Z1? I have tried numerous attempts in burning these disks, with differnt burning software, different disc sizes, ect. yet nothing works! However, each disk that I burn will play In any "other brand" indash DVD player that our store carries. I find it hard to believe that the Z! does not play VCD's, maybe something is wrong with mine specifically?????

Before speculating whether the drive will support VCD, why don't you play an off the shelf VCD (if you can find them) first..

Have you tried videos in .avi format divx or xvid endoded?
I would like to know if the Z1 can playback those.
