Finally recieved my Pioneer iPod Cable, for my F700BT, video works great (Did the bypass before I even installed the unit), music works, everythings fast and smooth, but the volume is like at a set level....I can turn it from 0-60 or whatever it goes up to and I get no difference, and its only coming from the front door speakers, not my subs, nor rear speakers....

It seems almost like its in a dual-zone mode or something...

Anybody?

well there is no dual mode support for the F series, so if your main volume control os not changing the level of the sound, then it sounds like you may have a problem with the AVIC internal mixer.

are you sure that you plugged the ipod cable's RCA's into the corect set of inputs? i would definitely check to make sure.

Hm, would the RCAs be labeled? I plugged them into a set that was unlabeled.

yes they are all labeled (or at least should be) you probably pluged the sudio in to the front audio outputs, and this is why that you only have sound in the front speakers and why you cant change the volume output

they should be labeled "AV1"

Well I hope it's that simple, I'll feel retarted as hell but I'll be happy

(Specially since im a techie kinda guy)

Thanks man I'll try it when I get home in a couple of hours.

cool let me know if that the deal. if so dont feel bad, there should have been a label on that set.

Awesome man, didnt even go inside when I got home I just ripped my bezel out (Not literally lol), and sure enough, I had the audio cables plugged in the Front Outputs, but the inputs didnt have any label on them, plus I had them zip tied away so I couldnt see them.

Thanks a million man! Now I cant wait to fab up a custom dock in my dash instead of having the cables in the glovebox :D
