Do you have the red/white/yellow RCA cables plugged into the AV1 input RCA connectors from the Pioneer cable?

If not you will not get audio

No it's plugged into the USB

You need USB AND RCA connection for audio, this would be why you're not hearing anything.

All covered in the installation sheets.

No RCA = no audio or video

jesus, this is just getting rediculus, the damn USB does not tranmit any audio, any moron that can read a manuel should be able to figure this out. if you used the pioneer cable, what did you think those RCA plugs where for? and why would you just leave them unconnected?

i just cant understand how people are still having the same problem with a 3+ year old unit, pioneer just needs to get rig of the damn USB plug to begine with and put their own crazy plug on there to keep this from still being a problem.
