What mics will work with the 700bt? Is there something special about the Pioneer mic? Can a mic for the 500 work? Can another brand hands-free mic suffice?

i bought a nokia mike off ebay works a treat
as an example. on mine f710bt its just a normal jack socket so prety much any handsfree mic works

From what I've gathered, any mic will work. Some mics will work better (sound quality) than others. As one person said, a mic is a mic.

I use this mic with my F700. Works quite well. It does need an adapter for 2.5mm -> 3.5mm. I linked them both for you.
