Navigation Banner warning

All, I've implemented the new Bypass method for the DVD and it works great. I still get the navigation warning and at first that was not a problem. Now, it's starting to get annoying that I have to acknowledge it everytime I start my car. Usually I forget to acknowlege the warning unless I map a destination. But when I don't and I need to make a bluetooth call using the call, received call command, It prompts to the stupid banner and then I have to perform the call and received call command again.

Any ideas?

You can't get rid of it. As long as the public are sue happy losers who bring litigation against companies to take their shot at $ instead of earning it the hard working and honest way we will have to put up with more and more of things like that. My wife's acura has that as well and you can't even have full control over the climate control system since it's handled through the nav touch screen without hitting ok to the disclaimer.

It's technically possible since the disclaimer screen is encoded into the software on the hard drive, but someone would have to do some major hacking of the files on the hard drive to get rid of it.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know. Sucks.....

They've actually found a way to hack that on the Acuras. But for all the coding that's involved, I hardly see the point. It's easier to just hit the button.

Yah for the old version. My wife's is version 4.3 and there is no crack for that. I think they have it for 3.X. I told my wife about it and she said if I touched her Acura she would kick my a$$ :) So I guess I shouldn't mess with it.

Of course it is possible to remove it from the Z1, but it would either take some super smart hacker or some inside information to do so. It's not been done yet.
