700bt no gps signal

Hey i have a 700bt

 

i grounded braking brake but didn't ground RCA harness(not installed)...

 

and i installed the software 3.0 bypass

 

Ultimately i don't get GPS signal..is it the Chinese eBay generic GPS antenna

 

ANd My mic doesnt work??

1. you don't need to use any software.

 

2. sounds like the GPS is to blame.

 

Mic doesn't work?

 

Did you buy a cheap one from ebay or something?

 

Test the mic on the computer first.

I bought my gps on ebay for 10 bucks and it works fine I have a f700bt with 3.0 I would try to see if there are any other updates I think mine is 3.000300 or something like that maps version is 2.0 something.
