Does anyone know when we will be able to upgrade the x920bt to the x930bt software? The x930bt is available to purchase and in stock at many places now.... so i would assume it has to be soon???

I asked that same question at my local Pioneer shop and they told me the Pioneer hasn't said anything yet about it. I would assume the update will be available only through Pioneer.

Being able to convert the 920 into a 930 by software upgrade would be cool...

There is no firmware download that will add the APP mode functionality to
the AVIC-X920BT. However I will review the details of the current
MAP/APPLICATION update, product number CNSD-210FM available for purchase
via our web store, to determine if that program will add the functionality.
