Anyone have any idea if the voice commands feature from the x920bt will ever be ported to the x930bt?
If Pioneer won't do it could someone hack it to work on the x930bt?

If you want voice commands get a x920 then upgrade it with the x930 software. Thats what people are saying.

I like the rotary volume control knob on the 930 and I still haven't received confirmation from Pioneer whether the x930bt has a faster processor than the x920bt.

The x930 will NOT have voice commands, and the cpu will NOT be any faster. Is that too difficult for you to understand?

Now what about the superior attitude and tone? That's not the way people with the "Moderator" title should be behaving towards users that are simply asking questions (even if the said moderator does not like the question). I hope you're not a moderator on any other forum. I wouldn't want other users to have to encounter your moderating, posting and attitude.

I talked to a pioneer dealer today. He said that the f930bt(europe) still has voice commands. You can still do: 'call + person name/number' or 'find closet poi'. These are VR or am i wrong?
He showed me in the x930bt manual, page 166/208 "Operating your navigation system with voice"

Just got my 700 BT upgraded to a 930 BT through warranty. Really missing the voice control; especially while trying to make a call. I then remembered that iPhone (4) has voice calling built into it. I tried it out and it works great through the 930. Hope this helps anyone with an iPhone that has voice control
